Hello Scrappy Tailers, and Welcome to the Scrappy Tails Candlelight Christmas Hop! 🕯️
Today, we’re sharing lots of beautiful Christmas and Winter Holiday cards that will really brighten your day. They feature dreamy new stamps and dies from the latest Scrappy Tails’ Candlelight Christmas collection.
I created my slimline card by first spraying a sheet of watercolour card with the new limited edition Mica Stains from Distress in Merry Mint and Shiny Bauble, with touches of Silver Pewter. I heat set the panel and then went back over with water mixed with perfect pearls and blot dry to lift some of the stain. I then cut the panel using the Slimline Snowflake Cover Die - the negative pieces look awesome too, so I have saved for another project. I die cut the coverplate three more times from white card stock and glued behind the panel for dimension. I then cut a piece of vellum to go behind the panel.
For the sentiment, I hot foiled the Hot Foil Christmas Sentiments using my Gemini Foil Press, and some holographic foil. I cut down to size and added a holographic mat. I created a notecard using holographi card stock (the core is white so you can write your message inside). I finished my panel with the gorgeous new Silver Gems from Scrappy Tails - so shiny!
